ATJ has six competitive teams of various ages who compete in the contemporary, jazz, hip hop, musical theater and tap categories.
Competitions give the dancers the opportunity to perform and compete in a friendly atmosphere with others who
share the same love of dance. Although our teams are known both regionally and nationally for their excellence
in dance our sole purpose of competing is not to win but to improve our skills in dance every season.
Our competition teams compete in four regional and one national competition each season. In additon
to competitions, our teams participate in the studio Holiday Show and the end of the year recital.
Admittance is by auditions only. Auditions are held in May for the following season.
